When the pandemic hit, and time stood still, I decided to embark on a journey of self-discovery. With the invaluable guidance of the incredible teachers at Sears ThinkBox, I ventured into the worlds of 3D printing, woodworking, and welding, all in the span of a few years. 

My story is one of a kid who grew up in the inner city, facing countless challenges. I wasn't the brightest student, and graduation seemed like a distant dream. But I never surrendered to adversity. I learned that regardless of where we come from, there are no limits to how far we can take our dreams. 

This exhibit is a celebration of that spirit—the spirit of embracing the journey, no matter how tough. It's a testament to the idea that success may not come overnight, but it's the path we walk that shapes us. From those humble beginnings, I've found myself in rooms and collaborations with some of the world's top talents.
